What to do when duty finder found a party during cut scene?

I usually queue in duty finder as a tank / healer, and then I switched back to DPS for my quests. In the middle of the cut scene, the duty finder pops up saying that a party is found, but I was not a tank / healer at that moment so I cannot join. It is sometimes okay for MSQ, but if it is a side quest, I don't want to skip the cut scene or I have nowhere to watch it again, so I have no choice but to accept the penalty of not responding in time when a party found....

Anyone know how to exit a cut scene (exit, not skip, so that I can return to a state that I can watch it again, just the same handling when you are in the correct class and press "commence" for duty finder in cut scene) or if there is a way to change your outfit inside cut scene?

I don't believe that it is possible. That would be nice as it has also happened to me a few times. The only thing I could think of is to quit the cut scene and then abandon the quest in your log and start again.

The only things you really can do besides start over are preventative self-restrictions:
    • If you're queued as one job, avoid changing jobs. That's not to say that you can't switch to another job at all; but say even if you want to side quest on another job, pick up the quest and do it as the job you're queued as, then switch to the job you want xp on only when you're ready to turn the quest in.
    • Avoid cutscening on any job except the one you're queued with. Switch to your queued job before commencing a cutscene. If it's a turn-in cutscene that must be done on the job you want xp on, wait to turn it in until after your duty. Do other quests in the mean time.

I do wish we could have an Abort Cutscene option in addition to the Skip Cutscene option, but since we don't, this is really all we can do to avoid cutscene/queue conflicts.

Ok, but, you're queuing as tank/healer. You ought to know your wait isn't going to be all that long. Even if you could abort, you'd likely be saving little if any time at all trying to multitask.

Although it is fast to queue as tank/healer, it still takes around 5-10 mins. (Not sure if it is because I am still doing post ARR MSQ and people are not playing low level content much)
It is not much time saved, but I would say it is still too boring to stand there to wait 5-10 mins doing nothing.

Even so, it's always a crapshoot to do a cutscene while in a queue.

    Maybe do some gathering/crafting instead
