Gunbreaker - Should Superbolide keep HP of recent healings?

I think we've all seen plenty of memes about GNBs using superbolide just as they received a cooldown heal which immediately nullifies the advantage. While it's all fun and games in the post game I feel like in the action this gives a lot of people a lot of unnecessary stress so I wondered if there was a solution to that while keeping the skills' intended risky nature.

The best I was able to come up with was the idea of Superbolide's HP burn "ignoring" recently incoming heals. For that I would use a 1 second window, to compensate for lag or a player's slow reaction. This means that, for example, when a white mage casts Tetragrammaton to restore 50,000 points of health, and the GNB activates Superbolide less than a second afterwards, they will be left with 50,001 HP.

I think the window is strict enough to prevent players from abusing this in some way, and it would primarily fix the frustration that stems from poor communication, particularly in PUG raids where the lack of voice comm makes writing "I am going to activate Superbolide" a time-consuming and therefore irrecommendable tactic.

    Nah.
How about we remove that one frame before the invuln applies where if you're taking too many hits of incoming damage you die from the 1HP thing instead.

Or, you know, communicate with your tank/healer if you think this is difficult? Bolide needs no change, your playstyle and problem-solving approach does.

I mean... You could just use Superbolide BEFORE your health drops low enough to make a healer panic heal you...

Really, the only thing I'd like to see for these Invuln skills, is something like a change in colour of your HP bar as a clear indicator to healers that you've got the effect activated, so they're less inclined to panic and pop Benediction or something when a DRK/WAR/GNB suddenly drops to 1HP despite there being this few seconds of being unkillable.

For dungeon pulls, just put "gonna bolide at low, hold bene" before you start running. It's not that hard. And everything beyond dungeons, people should be skilled enough as healers to expect you to bolide at low.

It's intentional, I'm sure you may be aware.
But for those that aren't, it's not designed to be your panic button, it's for planned cooldown usage. If you need a panic button it's going to have some degree of failure as it's punishment for messing something up.

    No, not needeed.
It's unfortunate when it happens, but that's not really a problem since gnb is invuln anyway.
Yeah it sucks to cast the big heal to see him drop again to 1 but oh well, happens.

    LMAO

If the healer uses their cooldown just as you activate Superbolide, that's a healer issue. That's completely on them!

I can't even believe this is a deal, let alone a big deal whatsoever. They literally have until Superbolide ends before using their cooldown.
