Question regarding using roulette to level alts

The question is are the available dungeons restricted to the level of the alt?

Yes. How would it work otherwise? You queue as a certain role/job, so why should it give you Dungeons that job can't enter?

Whichever it is, yes, the dungeons will be restricted to the level of said class/job, or character. Even if you unlocked all the dungeons with one job, you will only have access to dungeons within your level range if you switch jobs.
As for an actual alt, so another character, they don't depend on your 'main' character for dungeons, they have to unlock their dungeons the same way you did on your main.

If you mean alt classes, you'll only have access to dungeons within your level range. No lvl 80 dungeons at lvl 25 for instance.

If you mean alt characters, then apply all the above plus needing to unlock the dungeons themselves on the character. You still gotta do msq

Are you talking about alt jobs, or alt characters?

Dungeons are limited to the level of the job you're currently playing. You can't queue for (or get in roulette) a level 40 dungeon on a level 30 job, or anything like that.

For alt characters, everything has to be unlocked again. There is no shared progress between characters.

Your character on the left side of my screen says youre a level 56 dragoon. Lets say that tomorrow you went and unlocked samurai. Samurai starts at level 50. So you would have access to: the leveling roulette(with all the 15-50 leveling dungeons), the trials roulette(level 49 & 50 duties), the 50-60-70 roulette(with any optional level 50 dungeons you unlocked), the MSQ roulette(castrum or prae), the alliance roulette(as you as you unlocked 2+ of the crystal tower series), the pvp roulette, and the guildhests roulette. If a week from now you were level 60 and unlocked Dancer(which starts at 60), you would immediately have access to all those roulettes, and some of them would have extra content from 51-60. On the other hand, if you unlocked Dark Knight(starts at 30) you would only have leveling(15-30 dungeons), pvp, and guildhests available to you until you leveled up farther.
