    That's very much an exploit. That's a player knowingly engaging in an activity that will intentionally bypass an intended mechanic.

    What they need to do is add a Trust style system to Praetorium and Castrum, then remove the MSQ roulette altogether. New characters can use the Trust or form a pre-made group with friends to run them. Other players have plenty of options to chose from to get XP/tomestones.

    If other players didn't panic at the first undercut, markets wouldn't crash unless supply dramatically increased from other than normal sources (looking at you, Quick Ventures) or demand died out.

    If you know price activity for an item is unusual, sit tight or pull out for a few days. As long as supply/demand hasn't changed overall, the market will rebound.
