Frontline achievements counter

Question about two groups of achievements under Frontline, first group is "A line in the Storm" and the second is "Front and center".
On the first group my counter for Maelstrom is 100, while the second one is 34.
Now, what's the difference between "guide your GC to victory" and "triumph in Frontline"?

Front and Center got introduced when the Frontline Roulette was released. As usual SE doesn't care about older wins or kills in PvP, so you have to redo them from 0. You basically had 34 victories since it was released.

Same happened with Feast Achievements kinda, they removed fold and introduced new "Matches played in Feast" and "Matches won in Feast". While at the same time you have achievements that track the wins for your individual role tank, healer, melee, range dps and mage dps with up to 1000 wins. Now some people have let's say 1000 wins on tank and healer and melee , so that should be 3000 wins already right!? but the "Matches won in Feast" achievement, only shows like 1100 matches as won. Once again, only because they introduced it later when they removed The Fold achievements and consolidated it into The Feast ones.

Same for the kills and assists achievements, that were only introduced because of the outcry over top10 feast minions, all the kills and supports from several seasons before that didn't count and you had to start from 0 again.

Then Rival Wings Volume 2 happenend, and once again you get more out of it if you play the content later. You can get 2 mounts now for the same number of games as for the first harambe mount.

Technically would be better if you get all wolf rank tier achievements aswell, once you hit diamond tier, you should get all lower tier achievements...
And the title itself in german and english client are very different to the original japanese ones, they have Feast Champion , Feast Slayer etc. and we have have Leader and Beta Wolfs, players don't recognize what our titles stand for xD.

Bit of a necro posting but I have a frontline question the Line in the(storm/glade/sand) do you have to be a certain class for these to count or to just win? And is that any frontline pvp match or the daily challenge (the big scrim against the other 2 companies)?

Does the achievement specifically say you do?

If not, the answer is no.
If yes, the answer is yes.
