If the character creator was updated, what would you want in it?

At least 1-2 more face options for each race to account for the 6 that midlander hyur have. Also for the options NPC characters have that we obviously don't, like Aymeric and Baron Fortemps for elezen and Garlean features for Highlander hyur.

I'd rather prefer more preview options like ShB Benchmark, just for all jobs + mogstation glamour. All in a tidy drop-down field. When I made my Viera and past-Au ra now-Nyanko, I used the classic AF gear preview to "decide" what jobs look good or not. Would have been neat before I fantasiaed to see, for example, how my standard GNB gear looks between Au ra and Miquo'te.

Double or triple the number of options for Face/Nose/Mouth/Ear/etc shape. Most races only have four options of each and that's pretty limiting all things considered. Detach horn shape from the Au Ra faces.

Never going to happen but something like BDO's character creation system. Lets you control every aspect of the character customization. Terrible game, but great character creation system!

Expand the customization options, but still keep it limited as in don't just put every option possible but make sure each option is distinguishable from the next. I actually have a harder time deciding when there are too many options with very small differences with each other and would prefer smaller but recognizable options. Discrete sliders are preferred over continuous sliders.

That said, I also think the character customization is good enough as it is (minus the Viera/Hrothgar limitations, so fix that) and would rather they fix the clippings and the way gears work in various poses and their interactions with different appendages. But that's probably a more difficult thing to do.
