If the character creator was updated, what would you want in it?

Instead of face types, they are presets, then every face feature (eyes, nose, lips) is shared with each other to make more combinations. Adding to that, add more face options.
Shared facial features (scars, beard, beauty marks)
The ability to pick more than one face paint.
A hairstyle combination type system where you pick a different style for each segment like the back, bangs, side etc. Adding to this, add a slider for length and straight/curly options.
Expanded facial hair options
An actual height slider, not something that enlarges the entire model of your character.
An actual muscle slider, not something that sharpens the definitions of the muscles. They could do a body slider for this, actually making characters slimmer to muscular, or fat since people would love that option, too.
Body features like body scars, body hair, tattoos etc.

Also please add pleasing face options for races who need it, like male Highlanders.

Add new faces to all races and update the models and texture work on all old races.
Regardless of how generic and boring as viera players look you can tell their faces are HQ. When standing next to a Neko they almost look like they're not from the same game. Would love to have everyone's eyes and skin texture updated and have new faces to pick from.

Things I would like to see:
-Remove the Face option (where you choose one face with set facial feature options) and just give everyone all the facial feature options of their race/clan (while adding more).
-More options to differentiate clans from the same race.
-Option to mirror/flip Hairstyles
-More Make up options
-Let Miqote and AuRa choose their ears/horns
-Muscle sliders for all the races
-Give all make up a Vibrant option (besides Dark and Light)
-More Hairstyles for Viera
-A better Hairstyle system for Hrothgar

Yeah. I definitely don't think games need like... sliders for every single facial feature possible, as I've seen in other titles. FFXIV is pretty close to what I like. That said, as a hyur, and female, I am severely privileged. Between midlander and highlander being completely different and having more face options, we have it better than anyone else strictly speaking of variety.

What I would like is more facial hair options. Au Ra horns should be separate from their face. Everyone should have a slider for muscle definition. Also, I think we kind of we broke the barrier on "This is supposed to be rare so it wouldn't make sense to have them everywhere". There's millions and billions of sun cat boys, fish lizards, viera, hrothgar, running around. We should stop using lore to restrict character customization, and let it enhance it instead. Highlander men should have eyebrows, and midlanders should have the option of Padjal horns.

About anything I'd suggest has already been mentioned, so I'm just going to say ALL OF THE ABOVE.

I love this game, and have played for so many years, but my biggest gripe or the thing I've been most disappointed with is the character customization. It's not even on par with other MMOs that are roughly the same age. Would love to see a major overhaul...while I know it is extremely unlikely.
