If the character creator was updated, what would you want in it?

For that to know, one needs to look only at the many things that creators of other games make alot better than FF14, like GW2, like Black Desert, like Blade & Soul, like Bless Unleashed, like even older games like ArcheAge, Perfect World or even creators from offline console rpgs than surpass what FF14 offers.


FF14s creator mode for characters would be alot better, if


- all races would get like a douzen more new faces and hairstyles that are racialy shared and combineable
- if all races would get like 2-3 more tribes that visualy make the race look different a bit with an other culture
- if you could influence more the body of the character in their size and proportions
- if you could give them whereever you want visual extras like tatoos, scars, accessoires ect
- if the choice of your birthday, god blessing ect actually would MATTER somehow
- if we would have more influence in eye, skin and hair colors based on the range of colors that are realistical
- if there would get the personality of our characters get improved by lettin us better n more directly define the personality of our characters instead of letzing this get defined by which voice pitch we choose, total unreliable system to make it based on the voice pitch

I would like a mountain man beard option. The only full beard option is...lacking. I'd like a substantial beard option.

I'd love more eye makeup options too— I wish I could give my miqo'te some of 'em awesome cat eyes (no puns intended on the fact that I'm talking about a cat girl).
Perhaps some real, actual red lips on the makeup too. It's unfortunate that we cannot put real, cherry red lips on our character. Or at least I never managed to get that perfect red hue.

No point in asking about it, it’ll never happen because this game is so limited right now. If character creation is ever to be improved, it’ll be put in a new final fantasy mmo. It’ll either be ff16 or 17. People think 16 for some reason...I think 17, but could be wrong.

A few things I would use:

• Previews for combat voices
• More face customization
• Option to double up on face paints (or to just move the paints separate from the facial features like the darker eyes and freckles)
• More auri hair/horn options (and scale/horn colors that match their own for the hairstyles)
• Pronoun preference for quest dialog
• Fluffier miqo tails
• Tattoos/scars
• Butts

Instead of face types, they are presets, then every face feature (eyes, nose, lips) is shared with each other to make more combinations. Adding to that, add more face options.
Shared facial features (scars, beard, beauty marks)
The ability to pick more than one face paint.
A hairstyle combination type system where you pick a different style for each segment like the back, bangs, side etc. Adding to this, add a slider for length and straight/curly options.
Expanded facial hair options
An actual height slider, not something that enlarges the entire model of your character.
An actual muscle slider, not something that sharpens the definitions of the muscles. They could do a body slider for this, actually making characters slimmer to muscular, or fat since people would love that option, too.
Body features like body scars, body hair, tattoos etc.

Also please add pleasing face options for races who need it, like male Highlanders.
