Yes, and savage is once a week. Unless you are saying you want to only run ex fights once a week? Why? The books stayed in savage too when they added the coffers. They even added them ON TOP of the random dropping weapon while removing nothing.
Also, once again, the goal is to compensate for the lowered odds we get in every expanision for our chance of getting 2(!) weapons in 10 runs. 1 weapon in 10 runs was already guaranteed in HW through totems. So that has to stay, obviously.
They want the content to last more than a week. Being able to gear every job in a day with weapon coffers goes against that.

It was once a week in Alexander too. Nothing changed on that front. I'm trying one more time, then I'm done with it:
We can all agree that the dropping chance for your main weapon decreased with each expansion. More weapons = lower chance. To compensate those dropping odds they added a weapon coffer to the drops in savage while changing nothing else.
What I'm suggesting now is the same for Ex-Trials: To compensate the dropping odds I'd like to replace the random drop in Ex with a weapon coffer while changing nothing else.
It would be the same adjustment. Less even, as I would personally suggest the replace the weapon with a coffer, not to add it on top of it.

how about no tokens at all instead and boss still drops 1 random weapon per kill.
You can already get your weapon after 1 kill, many do.This. If you change it to coffers and you can get the weapon you want/need after 1 Kill, it would be dead content after week 1.
Don't use the Gwiber as an argument, Mount Farming isn't as much an incentive as the weapons are. True Mount farming mostly starts 1-2 patches later with better drop rates and token exchange.
Back when extremes were first intoruduced, the game only had 8 jobs. We now have 17 jobs - Its time to either have the trials drop two tokens by default, have them drop two weapons instead of 1, or have them drop a coffer. Back when Ifrit/Titan/Garuda extreme was introduced you had a 12% or so chance of getting your weapon and back then, mounts wern't a thing, atleast until the following patch, and yet it was still farming through the whole patch. By contrast, we now have only about a 5% chance of getting a weapon you want.
I farmed ruby weapon non-stop for 4 days, almost 80 kills, literally never saw the GNB or SCH weapon drop, EVER, yet i saw the mount twice and the crafting material 6 times - Those are supposed to be the rare items, not the weapons, and when they drop more times than you even SEE the weapons, let alone actually getting the weapons, then you know there is a problem.

Yes, but the point is you can get only one coffer per week in savage. The coffer being a coffer is to make up for that limitation; you’re right about the increasing number of classes, but that’s a problem because how often anything drops is capped while the content is current.
With the EX trials you can run it as many times as you want. You could take an entire weekend clearing it and get every single weapon just with the totems; if you spent a weekend running Eden’s Verse Savage, you’d still have at most four drops if you won something on every one of the raids. If your drops were also guaranteed to be the weapon you needed any time you won it, you could have every single weapon in an afternoon.
I see what you’re trying to go for, but the coffers solve a problem that only really exists because of the increased number of classes combined with the weekly limitation. If you wanted to go this route for current-content trials as well, you’d want a lock like the Copied Factory had all through 5.1, where you could win only one piece of loot per week (while the trial was the current content, anyway). Even still you’d be able to farm it far faster because the totems are for every clear rather than only being given once a week like the Manufactured Coin was, or raid tokens are.
Without the weekly limit, giving out an open-ended number of coffers you can turn into any weapon would turn the trial into a much faster weapon faucet.

E4S was farmed all the way up to 5.2 when the weekly lockout was removed. If wouldn't shorten the ammount of time people farm it for, if that's what you're wondering, as is evident by what i just said.Yes, but the point is you can get only one coffer per week in savage. That will defeat the purposes of using 10 token to get weapon from npc
actually you got at least 8 weapon of your choosing + countless other weapons. You can already get your weapon after 1 kill, many do.

I disagree with this. I think Extreme/Savage primal weapons shouldn't be too easy to get.
Worst case scenario, you just have to do the trial 10 times to exchange it for tokens. That's already easy enough in my opinion ...
Assuming the intended acquisition time for anyone to get a specific weapon were to be the same even with RNG's removal, I'd prefer to keep the system we have now, as it at least gives some small benefit for leveling multiple jobs.
