    Please replace random weapon drops with weapon coffers in Ex-Trials

    With now 17 different weapons to drop, the chance to get the weapon you need is very low in Ex-trials. In fact I've seen the mount drop twice so far in Ruby Ex, but never one of the three weapons I'd actually like to have. So it would be nice to replace the random weapon drop with weapon coffer instead, like in Savage. Then everyone has a chance to get the weapon they actually need.

    There would be still enough RNG as everyone can roll on it. And the Mounts keep Ex-Trials more alive then the weapons anyway.

    This. If you change it to coffers and you can get the weapon you want/need after 1 Kill, it would be dead content after week 1.

    Don't use the Gwiber as an argument, Mount Farming isn't as much an incentive as the weapons are. True Mount farming mostly starts 1-2 patches later with better drop rates and token exchange.

    That's the point. They don't want getting those weapons to be a picnic.

    You got two choices:

    -RNG, which is what we have now.
    -Even more tokens, so you need to run the trial 100 times before you get your weapon.

    And last I checked, people keep complaining about tokens whenever they are used.

    Make weapons available to be turned in for tokens. Several tokens can be exchanged for the weapon you want.

    You can turn in 10 tokens for whatever weapon you want though... If you don't and want to save them for the mount that's a choice you make.

    Honestly, I'm not all that keen on the coffers in Savage frankly. It makes it far too easy for people to hoover up gear that they neither need nor will use, not to mention that it means that a well organised static can be fully geared and done far quicker than ever before. They aren't a magic fix all imo.

    Regardless, what's wrong with using tokens? I've had to burn my first 10 before saving up for a mount many a time, it's just part of the progression imho.

    On average, coffers would still take 8 runs to obtain.
    It currently takes 10 runs to be able to purchase the weapon with totems, factor in the chance of it dropping ealier and it's likely about the same number of runs or less, on average, to get your weapon.
