[Suggestion] Stone, Sky, Sea Level and Item Sync

So a group of mine is doing Weapons Refrain Ultimate... But sometimes a few of us delve into the community that does stuff synced and minimum item level.

And sometimes we end up using classes we don't normally use for main raiding, etc.

We know them well enough but the level sync sometimes throws us off with our muscle memory.

Am I missing an option to level sync the dummy for Stone, Sky, Sea for level 70 content and under? It essentially doesn't do anything anymore as even though you can hunt down the gear to put you at item level you still have your level 80 kit.

I know this is niche but it would be nice if there a way to actually make use of the dummies for older content so we can better prepare if the option isnt there already. We can't really see if we're contributing as much as we can for a clear at no echo minimum item level if we just destroy the dummy AND we have our level 80 kit.

Not a bad suggestion. In the interim, until or if it never gets implemented, just put on level appropriate gear/melds, and then make a separate hotbar using only skills up to the level the duty is synced at.

That works around hotbar problem by artificially restricting the buttons available, but some actions get traited up in the levels after an expansion cap, so there will still be a little bit of fudging going on for some of the jobs. RDM, for example, gets +50 potency to Displacement, a 5% magic damage buff on Manafication, and a reduced cooldown on Contre Sixte by 80, all of which will inflate numbers a bit higher than what they would actually be at 70.

Sorry not sorry about snark, buuut, you play tank, and find it uncomfortable when your health, well, tanks?

Role change to ranged dps? You can still stand around in tank glamours in towns, if that helps.

I know this, but loads more things have changed beyond that, like if you're trying to do level 60 SSS dummies for instance, Direct Hit did not exist in HW. For the 70(applies to 60s as well) dummies, pretty much every job had large potency increases to every GCD/oGCD since Stormblood.

You won't get an accurate representation of what your DPS is in that old content, even if you were at the exact level/gear for the dummy, because it was balanced at different skills, potencies, and substats than what we have available today. They don't update the old dummies at all.
