While I do think the housing situation is outright depressing, I feel like it's terrible to lock content behind them exclusively, The fact that you need a Free Company Estate to place a Aetherial Wheel Stand and to use Airships and Subs is outright stupid

Outside of this, I can care less about actually owning a plot besides maybe letting my Retainer be placed in my apartment

Yeah I had this idea of making a Café theme based on the Royal Navy Maids from Azur Lane at a FC house but clearly that's not going to happen so I ended up just remodeling my apartment in Mist into a small compact one

I don't see any issues with adding a Workshop at the Grand Company HQs to allow players to utilize Airships and Subs along with having a Aetherial Wheel Stand there

I agree, this is a very good idea.

It would also help against people who buy houses for the workshop only or even make multiple FCs for it. Those people that aren't actually interested in the house itself could just use the Grand Company workshop. Then we would only need a way to use gardening without a house.

I know that there are people who think that not everyone should have everything and workshops/gardens should only be for those people who were lucky enough to get a house. But with a system where you are able to have multiple houses with one account and can make multiple FCs which all can have houses, they should remove all advantages like the workshop and not tie it to houses, so that those people don't have an incentive to get more houses, and more different players could have one. You still have the advantage of being able to place FC chest, summoning bell, NPCs etc. all in one place. And yes, I have an FC house and a personal house, and I use them a lot. So I'm not envious or angry or anything like that. I just think it would be more fair for everyone.

Its just its rather dumb that the only ways to get a Level 3 Buff are through the Aetherial Wheel Stands or for people to do Squadrons to get a handful of a few ones that last a few hours

I know Indoor Gardens are in the development process, But this too should happen, Content Locked Through Housing was a dumb idea

It's only 'locked' if you don't want to join someone else's FC. So it's locked largely by personal decision to operate your own FC and have full ownership over it instead of sharing it.

If you would take a moment to read the entire original post, the suggestion is to allow workshops to be accessed at the GC Headquarters and to have an Aetherial Wheel Stand added to the workshop.

Right now the workshop and Wheel Stands only require a FC house because SE chose to design the content that way. SE could choose to change it or add options if they want.
