Experiencing new content is not all about getting the clear. For many people having a new raid simply represents having something new to do in the game, even if they aren't winning it right away.
I imagine you share this opinion with Heaven on High, Eureka, Blue Mage and the plethora of other content that was already readily available but intentionally staggered because, and I quote, "We felt there was too much content and didn't want people to feel overwhelmed."

And those players still get to experience all that content whereas players aiming for week 1 Savage don't. A week delay of Savage does not prevent you from enjoying the remaining content.

You also do not speak for the hardcore raid community. Therefore, it's disingenuous to claim delaying Savage would be a punishment. You can't know that any more than I can. Hence why I offered a suggestion I think would be beneficial. Given the reception, I think it's clear many share that opinion.

You do realize this makes no sense given only one group out of the thirty or so racing managed to figure out what the Heart debuff even did. And TPS showed video evidence they stumbled on it by complete accident and simply guessed. If datamines was key to figuring out the mechanic, why did a streaming group with no access to said datamines beat all the World racers except TPS?

By this logic, Ultimate should be extremely shallow that not even hardcore groups care about given it has a two week delay following the initial patch release despite there being no cut scenes or gear to halt progression. The mere idea delaying Savage by a week would cause people to lose interest is so laughably extreme, it borders on delusional.

The change won't occur because Square hasn't changed the formula in 6+ years, so the entire thread is pointless. But that's why you're not getting more "against" posters.
The current Coffer system would like to have a word with you about that.
