The change won't occur because Square hasn't changed the formula in 6+ years, so the entire thread is pointless. But that's why you're not getting more "against" posters.
Well actually, yoshi said they were debating about delaying savage a week but went with week one release in the Live letter.

So Yoshi knows how raiders prefer if its delayed.
If I'm honest. I really don't know why some people are against the delay.

It honestly helps everybody, it gives everybody a chance to prepare, hell it would even make pf pugging more smooth because people have crafted gear instead of coming in with 260 gear trying to get carried.
