No it's us providing the memories and Ryne using them and Eden to manifest.
It's us. It's all us. Until E8
1. Sometimes art should make you feel uncomfortable.
2. Ryne does not, in fact, actually exist.
lmao
lmao
how do you get through your day to day?
Like, if you get into a party with a lala in a bikini do you just leave?
Curing Waltz is old and busted. The new hotness is Benediction Boogie. Make it happen, Squeenix!
When I was 4 years old, I was taught to swim and the teachers had to see me in V-pants. Does that constitute lewding? No, and Ryne's age is much greater than that.
Ryne is nude. She's not wearing a bikini.
I love how this post has 14 likes yet it wrongly conflates sexualization with objectification. One discussion is not like the other.Sexuality wouldn't be such a taboo subject if we weren't so prudish as a society. It's always so strange to me the Western Civs went through entire eras of free-love and body expression only to have a weird reversion back into Puritanic pearl-clutching.
How can we be inundated every single day with articles screeching that "women aren't sexual objects", but at the merest hint of a low neckline, women claim an entire situation automatically becomes sexually charged? Seems a bit irrational to me.
Don't get me started on the utterly ridiculous idea that children are children and MUST be kept as children until that magical day they turn 18 years old and automatically they are expected to be an adult and understand complex mature topics like financial independence, social decorum, and sexuality. People don't make sense.
Also, 18 is not an arbitrary number. It grants children a sufficiently long buffer to fully develop (girls finish developing at 15-17, boys finish developing at 16-17) and learn about themselves and sexual relationships after they reach puberty. And by your logic, children will learn complex mature topics as they get older, so the older the child, the more likely they will fulfill your criteria. Ultimately, it's the expected number of children who fulfills your criteria by age that counts. And someone thought 18 was a good age to pick.

she is nude when/how ? when the big ass dragon is wrapped around her in savage ? during transformation when there are so many particle effects you can't even really see if/whatever she is wearing ? some People make it sound like if a naked person stood under the brightest light possible to produce in the world, literally being showered in it you would look at a naked person if you looked the right direction, in fact all you would look at would be light bright enough to burn your eyeballs out.
see, but thats exactly why it is an arbitary number, "girls finish developing at....." okay so who is to say ryne didn't finish developing ? now in real life if there are real children/young adults to be protected from exploitation than i will absolutely agree with you, it is better to err on the side of safe rather than sorry, and some line has to be drawn, generally most of the world agreed on that line being 18. but this isn't real life. Ryne very clearly falls on the site of "still pretty young", gonna take a guess and say 16 here. Also, 18 is not an arbitrary number. But Ryne won't be any smarter/more careful/more experienced "the day she turns 18" , so in that regard saying "17, 2 days before 18th birthday is wrong, 18+ is okay, the line exists for a reason" doesn't make any sense.
Again, it does make sense in Reality if nothing else than as a safety zone to protect someone potentially vulnerable, but ryne is not that, she is not real, you can't hurt her either physically or emotionally, what this leaves us with is "does she look old enough?" and while i would say "on average? no" its not like she looks like a 12 year old, she very well (if she were real) could be a "young looking 18 year old"

Yeah our bad. She's wearing MORE than that. A dragon on her upper half She's even got a cloth around her lower section
I like how this post wrongly conflates sexual maturity with physical maturity including the brain. Fortunately, there are scientists that research these things and gives us information we didn't have before. That's why some places debate about previous age limits. They also realize we're developing sexually faster due to the presence of artificial lights, diet and nutrition. Basically our brain chemistry is saying "we have access to food, good lighting/shelter - let's breed". So we're entering into puberty faster. However, it still takes time for our brains to fully develop - which by the way is around the age of 25.I love how this post has 14 likes yet it wrongly conflates sexualization with objectification. This is why I'm glad for science so that we can look at our laws (especially since the majority of the laws in US are religiously and politically driven due to lobbying) than just assume "18 is a good age to pick"
Also ...really why are we trying to apply modern law logic to a fictional world where even it's been stated there are limitations on the models they work on.
