Stop counting. Seriously. Someone needs to explain why you ppl insist on counting how many runs it takes you to do anything. If you stopped counting, you really wouldn't notice how bad it is. You're basically shooting yourselves in the foot, making it far more painful than it needs to be, all because you have some weird obsession with counting how many runs it takes you to get anything. Just stop, and you will be happy.

lol, I'm not counting but it really is ridiculous how many times I've beaten Ifrit and got the same f'ing weapon or dark matter. No amount of ignoring the count will relieve me of the frustration of receiving another freaking Ifrit's Cane.

No, you're supposed to not count so its not as painful. You dont have to count to realize the drop rates are bad. Counting just makes it seem infinitely worse. Its kinda like counting every time someone jabs you with a pencil instead of just zoning out and waiting for it to be over. When it comes to Ifrit/AV/CC thats what you have to do, just zone out and do your runs like a zombie. When you finally do get your weapon, you'll have no idea how many runs it took you, and you wont care...youll just be happy you got it.

If you count, you are setting yourself up for unhappiness....well more unhappiness.

The problem isn't so much counting, just doing 3 days straight of runs, full day nonstop primal runs, and seeing only lovely Dark Matter. Rather demoralizing.
