Well, there actually is a button to make the NPCs stand out and easy clickable for you. It's right next to the T on your keyboard (Y/Z, depending on your nation)
I'll have to figure out what it's called then because I've rebound all of those keys to abilities <.< Rip
Is it like a highlight or does it let you select too?
While holding the button it makes all the other player not clickable and hide their names, so you only see the names of the NPCs (also interactive spots or objects) and you can only click on those. It's also very usefull on other crowded areas like at the retainer bells.

It's X on keyboards. It hides all player and minion names making NPCs and quest objectives the only clickable objects.
Edit: The keybind for it, in case you changed or deleted it, is found under the System tab and is called "Target Filters."

No Limsa hardly gets anything so it needs it honestly........like changing it to some city that has less ppl gathering around like ul'dah, not sure why they choice limsa as a gather point for that event, last thing we need is other reason to get more player gather in limsa, back then i don't even go to limsa for a months because alot of guys just afk inside the city and make the load time worse, no i have to go to that city on daily basic
Also Ul'dah has almost everything in it ... the other two citys every event is held in most stuff story wise flat out avoids Limsa outside a few parts.. its really a highly under used city for stuff/unlocks lol
Ul'dah...is in the middle of a desert.
