....like changing it to some city that has less ppl gathering around like ul'dah, not sure why they choice limsa as a gather point for that event, last thing we need is other reason to get more player gather in limsa, back then i don't even go to limsa for a months because alot of guys just afk inside the city and make the load time worse, no i have to go to that city on daily basic

I think it just makes the most sense to have it in Limsa since it's a port city and is where the Fisherman's guild is based.

That said it would be nice if they stuck the NPC you need to talk to a bit higher up, like on a box or something, so it's at least easier to click her amid the big crowd that's constantly shifting/phasing in and out every time you move during primetime...

I'm not sure what they can do about the load times though. Short of maybe instancing it and putting an Aetheryte there maybe? Idk how feasible that would be though. Maybe they'll expand to other areas eventually, there could be some neat routes if they do. Like from Kugane maybe. Maybe unlikely, but would be neat.

Well, there actually is a button to make the NPCs stand out and easy clickable for you. It's right next to the T on your keyboard (Y/Z, depending on your nation)

I'll have to figure out what it's called then because I've rebound all of those keys to abilities <.< Rip

The reason Ocean Fishing is in Limsa is because the Fisherman's Guild. Ocean Fishing is meant to be used for Power Leveling Fishers, so it would make sense for it to be in the same city as where new Fishers start their casting adventure.

It would get crowded in any city anyway when people gather to get in the ship? This is so pointless. Get better internet.

maybe in future when we get more destinations, so you need to be at the right port at the right time.

The gathering point is off in a corner of Limsa that most people don't visit regularly anyway, I don't see the big deal.

Limsa is the Navy of Eorzia - it makes perfect sense the ocean voyages are set from there.
