This years Valentione's gear & Calamity Salvager

So I have the female gear for the Valentione's event, but I wanted to exchange it for the male set so I can put my retainer in it. It doesn't seem to be an option to exchange it for the opposite gender, though. Does it usually take a while for that option to show up at the Calamity Salvager?

I hate to tell you, but that gender-specific exchange section hasn't been updated in years.

There was an option to buy the other gender's gear from the festival stall this year, but that seems to be all the chance we get.

Unless the recompense officer (next to the salvager) is selling it, you're probably out of luck until it goes on Mog Station.
