So about that new dungeon

I think the dungeon was pretty much on par with a sizeable chunk of the dungeons already present in the game.

That is to say, rather meh.

I've come to terms with the idea that as far as this game is concerned, dungeons will almost invariably be cute little strolls through hallways but not much else. As I stated on another topic, they're really more of a formality to keep with the genre's identity.

I found it a bit hypocritical to kill the sahagin queen because the Tempest doesn't have the resources to support more of them (and because they were going to go to war) while rewind a few months ago and I did a whole quest chain to help the queen in Ondo Cups to give birth herself... so what about the resources those fish will need?

Its not just about the ressources. The ondo say that they tried to talk to them but the hatred is too deep. If we dont take her out (and the scions did not like that either) then they will grow in numbers and go to war with the people. People that have done nothing wrong. So its either not kill her and later hear that they have slaughtered the Ondo and who knows how many people from the villages (including the children) or kill the queen (who also was ready to attack us and did not want to talk to us at all) and save the rest.

The scions did not like it and we also had that sad look on our face afterwards, but the harsh truth in the situation was that fighting was the only option left.

I'm aware of that issue too. I'm saying that the fact that they mentioned resources as an issue at all when you consider the quests of the Ondo tribe is a bit incongruent.

2/10, good trolling idea but lacks effort in the execution.

Not a troll, I am uncomfortable with killing her but this is most likely due to my personal experience and it isn't going to prevent me from redoing the dungeon, and honestly the thread Is meant to be about the dungeon as a whole which is why I started with the opening paragraph about everything before the final boss. Though I properly should've omitted my feelings on the queen they are nevertheless still apart of my dungeon experience and I felt that it unnerved me too much.

The whole Ondo thing felt kinda tacked onto the side, and tbh the first boss and the cutscene after the dungeon was over were probably the coolest things about the place. Zero investment in the "stop the fish pirate army" plot.

How do you people watch movies if things in video games are sensitive to you

I legit cannot watch Moana dry eyed anymore since my grandmother passed, before that I was fine, nowadays if I see it I am needing those tissues.

Movies like any medium are meant to invoke feelings in people just like video games are, how well they succeed and what they invoke is different from person to person which of course is subjective as kupo.

I think it's more the implied bit where, if the benthos were equally kind, the Ondo would share and vice versa, instead of attempting to hoard resources for either side.

It's been a while, but I thought our friend's queen was already pregnant before the water was removed. This other queen wants to get pregnant after the water is removed when they know that resources have decreased.

If you guys felt guilty about killing the Ondo Queen, then I don't think you're gonna like some of the Ruby Weapon cutscenes.

I mean that's a full grown adult who we only see as a kid. Did I feel bad about what happened to her yes, but we put her out of her misery. There's a difference between a person who not only tried to kill their adopted father and you getting possessed by a crazy lady and having to kill them vs killing a pregnant lady even if it means saving a bunch of lives.
