    I think healers are dead boring right now, and the devs are so embarrassed by their creation that they dont even want to talk about them.

    I honestly think that since they know healers are in a incredibly weird spot, along with so much push-back for not creating a new healer for shadowbringers, that they are holding off and saying and changing as little as possible for the time being. With them breaking astro when the expansion came out and having to give out some major adjustments and buff paired with schs being given Energy drain back AGAIN. they clearly have some type of disconnect.

    I'm willing to bet we wont get any major healing changes until 6.0. Because each healer can (and has) done all the content. Yes, Astro is funky and Sch is (without getting to far into it) lack luster. But regardless they can still handle the content.

    "If it "Technically" works why fix it right now when we can add a new healer and change every healer to hopefully breath some life back into the role?" - this is what i'm thinking SE and YoshiP are thinking. But again I wouldn't know since they seem to not wanna share their opinions about the current state of healing.

    I think a good amount of the community can say healers, as a role, is just a meh role.
    They can do there job and that's enough I guess.
    I, personally, don't get as much enjoyment from weaving heals and spells like I used to with sch because 98% of my kit is just heals and shields. I want more intractability with my skills and shields. Like make a reverse deployment tactics called "Reinforcement tactics" that drain extra shield that are left from your actions and have them transferred to a target. Works just like DT but just takes shields and gives it to someone. That would be a super unique and helpful skill. Sure it's not useful in 100% of content but you could make plenty use of it if skilled enough.

    I just want a identity again that's very fleshed out. Not completely homogenized.
