DirectX question

So I havent played this game on my PC in like 6 months (thank god it run as perfectly fine on my PS4). Because ever since I upgraded from my 7 year old PC I USED to play it on that was running GTX 780 (and it worked fine) to my current one (which is only 1-2 years old). Every 30 mins or when Im doing something intense (like a FATe with a lot of ppl in an area or a 24 main raid, Eureka, big pull in a dungeon or an overcrowded town) the game will crash and Ill get a Fatal Direct X error. Changing back to Direct X 10 doesnt make the problem go away. Ive seen people talk about it in the official forums too so Im not the only one (and yes my drivers are up to date). Now the most recent patch notes says... Resolve Issues:


An issue wherein the game could not be run in DirectX® 11 mode with certain combinations of gamepads and drivers.


So Im wondering. Has that finally been fixed?

Direct X is, at the end of the day, not something SE can "fix" - and its different for every person. The only way you'll know is if you try it yourself, because only a small percentage of the playerbase got the error you described, but you're the first person ever i've heard getting it from something as small as a FATE. It's cause is unique to each person, so you'll need to test it yourself.
