6d error

As per Rhaervis' suggestion I am posting to this section of the forum.

Rehash: After updating for 5.2 through the launcher, pressing "Play" button will give "An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting Final Fantasy XIV.(6d)" pop up message.

Launching the game as admin, restarting computer, using DX9 and DX11 client on both old and new launcher, clean boot, and setting the computer's global settings via NVIDIA Control Panel to the NVIDIA graphics card instead of the integrated Intel card did not help with resolving the 6d error. Mactype/ launching from Steam/ Nvidia Geforce Experience do not apply as I do not have any of these programs installed.

As per the subforum rules, I am posting here to state I also have this issue, with only one solution: If I click "Play" in the interface of Nvidia Geforce Experience, the FFXIV Launcher will allow the game to open. If I attempt to play the game without using Nvidia Geforce Experience, it does not load and I get the 6d error. I do not have any issues with overheating or storage space. I have never installed MacType. I do not start the game with any gamepad peripherals plugged in. I have attempted all other troubleshooting suggestions from support staff in various forum threads with no fix.
