Game not launching (Unexpected error code 6d)

Game isn't launching properly, keeps giving me the same issue every time i try to start it.

I've tried it with other programs running like Brave browser, Steam, Discord, and Epic launcher. I've tried with no extra programs. I've tried both the old and new launcher, and both DX9 and DX11. I've tried reinstalling the game/launcher and restarting the computer. The crash happens consistently on pressing the "Play now" button on the launcher after logging in.

Have any changes happened to the device before the issue began? I would also like to recommend several other troubleshooting steps:

1) Make sure that your hardware is not overheating and remove any overclocks you may have on your graphics card or processor. Please check that any fans or vents are clear of blocks.
2) Disable any additional programs that could cause interference with the game itself including chat programs. Also, remove any custom configurations made using graphics driver-level programs.
3) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
4) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)
5) Update and reinstall graphics drivers.
6) Perform a Clean Boot on the device to see if the crashing continues. This will prevent any programs from starting up when the starting when the computer first boots up. This can end up having adverse effects on the game when these programs are running in the background. To perform a clean boot for Windows 10: Open the task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.

@rhaervis Could you explain why you keep recommending the same things over and over to everyone, but not one person I've seen so far has said any of those things have resolved the 6d issue for them?
