6d error

@Packetdancer: TY for the suggestion! Unfortunately changing back to the old launcher did not work, but I'm glad it worked for your FC members.

@Rhaervis: The only change that I could think of is a mandatory windows update from 1 or 2 days ago. I removed my razer mouse and disabled fullscreen optimization as per your suggestion, but no changes as far as I can see. I don't believe that I have any custom configs as listed in step 2 since it is a new computer that I have only used a handful of times to install ffxiv, chrome, and photoshop. For step 1, how would I go about removing any overclocks, if any?

MSI Afterburner (for AMD or Nvidia cards) or NVidia Inspector (for, y'know, just Nvidia cards) should let you view the overclock status of your card (and disable it if necessary). It should also allow you to underclock your card if you want to try that. I don't expect it would be what causes the 6d error, myself, but it can't hurt to have the tools around.

Do make sure to write down the original settings just in case before you change anything, of course.
