Thread: 5.2 Timed Nodes

A few notes to add regarding Spiritbonding, Materia farming and these nodes:

-The Facet set actually Spiritbonds at half the speed, so for the purposes of Materia farming, it's worse than Dwarven. That said, using just Facet Tools and rest Dwarven can help you reach the requirements for 2 star node +1 and +2 bonus.
-Pentamelding increases spiritbond rate. Fill every slot, even if only with grade 1-4's or non-gathering materia.
-We got a new Spiritbond potion in ShB, Superior Spiritbond Potion, it stacks with the Squadron Manual. Meteor Survivor ring didn't seem to do much, maybe there's a cap.
-Ageless Words/Solid Reason is amazing for extra spiritbond. Yield bonus don't affect it.
-The 1 star nodes (Sandalwood, Prismstone, ect.) are equally effective as 2 star nodes on Dwarven gear Spiritbond.
-lv80 timed nodes are about half as effective. Still reasonable.

One node (no bonus) with 2 Ageless Words, a Superior Spiritbond Potion and a Squadron Spiritbond Manual is 30-31% Spiritbond. You can have a full set spritbonded in just over 3 nodes.

10:00 - Tungsten Ore - The Tempest
