I have the same problem please fix it
Happening here as well..
1. Rebooted
2. Reinstalled FFXIV
3. Removed ACT
4. Removed some webcam software that had generated some unrelated errors in the DXdiag log.
5. Checked Nvidia drivers are up to date. Checked card isnt too hot.
6. Renamed the data folder under My Games and restarted launcher.
7. Looked in event viewer application and system logs for errors (there wernt any).
8. Ran Dell Support Assistant (again) for hardware errors My machine is still under its 5 year extended warranty as well.
9. Opened task manager and shutdown everything that is possibly optional.
10. Did this: 3) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
11. Havent removed any USB devices since they are all required for the correct function of the PC. No USB disks or phones attached.
12. Switched to old black launcher
None of this helps.
Other games, eg World of Warcraft, are fine.
Something has changed in the Square Enix software to cause this. Until patch 5.2 I have never had errors with FF XIV.

Okay so I've tried all the solutions that other people have said that worked for them and so for nothing but one worked. While it is not a 100 percent solution to the problem running FFXIV through GeForce Experience does result in the error not appearing. Not sure if this will be that way forever I will post if it stops working but for now it works if you run it though GeForce experience.
Thank you so so so much! This is the only thing that worked for me. I've never even heard of this MacType program everyone kept telling me was the cause, and it's really annoying that people would literally argue back at me that I must have it anyway. The cause is clearly with the client somewhere and it's baffling that they haven't hotfixed this yet, or even addressed it.Okay so I've tried all the solutions that other people have said that worked for them and so for nothing but one worked.
