Have you tried switching back to the old launcher? (Go to the Settings in the launcher, and you can switch back there.) After swapping launcher types, my friends who were having the 6d error were able to get in. Don't know if it's the only problem out there (and thus if the solution will work for everyone), but it seems to be a solution and thus worth trying?

I've tried it with other programs running like Brave browser, Steam, Discord, and Epic launcher. I've tried with no extra programs. I've tried both the old and new launcher, and both DX9 and DX11. I've tried reinstalling the game/launcher and restarting the computer. The crash happens consistently on pressing the "Play now" button on the launcher after logging in.
