changing gears can only be done while in a "resting" position along with an increased regen.

I don't understand. You can only change gear when your weapon is not drawn (an ok limitation) and not moving allows you to recover HP/MP extremely quickly after a few seconds of wait time.
I know what i'm saying trying to discuss is removing that.
Meaning you want change gear in combat?
well, never again
I'd prefer not to be able to change gear while standing ect. ex: I'm Whm main and I have hate in moogle nuking before summon then I'm able to switch to healing gear. at least make me sit in a corner for a bit is all I'm saying.
I dont understand what OP wants lol
"Online gamers are the most ludicrously entitled beings since Caligula made his horse a senator and at least the horse never said anything stupid."
I think OP is wanting it to be even harder to change gear. Like only when sitting?
But if so, I think that'd be kinda silly.
no no no no! I think she's saying that she wants to sit as whm during a moogle battle... can we do that?
BTW i'm just messing with you, your post is a bit vague.
I think the OP means that they want to be able to change gear whenever they are in a state of increased regen, even in battle?
I tried.
Can you change gear at will while engaged, as long as you are in passive mode?
If so (I'm not even sure, I haven't played magic classes/jobs much), I think the OP is saying they would prefer not to be able to do that anymore. Which I would think everybody should agree with, since everyone seems very against going back to gear-swapping like in FFXI.
OP, if that is what you desire, I would definitely agree. This almost seems like a flaw in the design, rather than working-as-intended. Instead of only changing gear in passive mode, it should be you can only change gear when not engaged in combat.
Consequently, I wonder if the game even tracks that...Can you teleport when in battle, as long as you are in passive mode?
