6d error after 5.2 patch only

Same as everyone else posting, been dealing with the 6d error ever since 5.2 dropped and it has become rather frustrating, especially since every option and possible fix effort has given me nothing in return. From Mactype (which I do not even have installed), to updating my drivers, switching client from old to new, and even reinstalling it 3 times.

I will provide my system information for the sake of having extra info. My PC has been running FF14 smoothly for quite some time, without any hiccups to name. So I am unsure if there is anything I can do client side to fix the issue, and feel that I am relying on a fix being patched in for this. Seeing how I am well in the area of specs to run this game, it is definitely not an issue with my PC struggling to run it.

I do hope this is addressed or at least acknowledged and further looked into. Needless to say, been eager as anyone to get into patch 5.2

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Have any changes happened to the device before the issue began? We would also like to recommend several other troubleshooting steps:

1) Make sure that your hardware is not overheating and remove any overclocks you may have on your graphics card or processor. Please check that any fans or vents are clear of blocks.
2) Disable any additional programs that could cause interference with the game itself including chat programs and any other programs/add-ons/overlays which would change display settings or permissions. Also, remove any custom configurations made using graphics driver-level programs.
3) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
4) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)
5) Try installing Windows, Steam and FINAL FANTASY XIV on to the same drive if possible.
