Issues with launching the game

I'm having the same issue and I own the game through Steam. I've updated Windows 10, ran everything with admin privs, and reinstalled. Everything was fine right before the update so hopefully this is something on Square's end.

Same thing for me, I'm trying to reinstall the game but with 0 hope thats going to work. I also play on steam.

I saw a comment on Reddit that worked for me, completely exit Steam and run it in Admin and then try launching the game.

Worked for me too, no clue why, but its working now
