EDIT: you all nitpicking so much that the OP already owned up for his/her mistake.

I honestly don't get why people thought I was blaming the devs. I was just bitter over missing the achievement and I clearly said in my first post:

I either didn't quite understand that there would be more quests later, or I had forgotten about it altogether.

The only thing I wish was different was getting the achievement after phase 1 instead of phase 2.
