BA newbie

I'm not really sure where to post this but I wanted to dive into BA and I am aware of the discord to find a group but I am confused on how the group is partied together. Do you meet outside of the instance then all go in?

Generally speaking the group forms parties outside, and then they all attempt to get into the same instance, which honestly back in the day was the longest part of the process lol. Shouldn't be too hard these days I don't think.

Does that mean group up on the same server as well......i didn't know what I was doing so im sure i messed it up for people

No you'll use party finder to group up once the discord has everyone set in place.
You don't need to be on the same server, just the same data centre like anything else.
