    It's high time to get rid of beast tribe daily limits

    After trying to get caught up on an alt I have found this irritating.

    The new beast tribes are limited to 3 a day as the npc only will give out 3 new quests a day, but there is still a 12 a day limit overall.

    To allow newer players to complete the ARR quests and stay on top of others, at this point shouldn't we just do away with the daily cap? I mean if ppl wanna burn thru 21 quests a day, what not let them. Each npc only gives 3 a day anyway, so why not let that work as the "limit" instead? It would make getting the ARR tribe quests done in a much more feasible time without having to neglect any of the others, unless you choose to.

    This is a silly thing to limit after 7 years imo, when everything post ARR have built in and very limited caps.

    Partially because beast tribes (outside ARR mostly), especially the crafter tribes, give really good exp for the amount of effort they take.

    Also beast tribes tend to have useful stuff that you pay for with the beast currency. Like you can get rank 8 materia from pixies with their currency. If pixies were uncapped, there would be nothing stopping you from buying tons of materia.

    Also in the scheme of things, taking a month to complete isn't that bad considering how long most ongoing players will be subscribed.

    Even if the daily limit of twelve was to be lifted, those would still be 3 a day so nothing would change.

    I agree with the OP, I also find it hard to catch up on ARR beast tribes because they're designed with such reputation that counts on you doing a full set each day. That full set now requires the full daily limit so either you do those or you do actually useful ones.

    At the very least if the way it works due to coding it would be harder to lift the restriction than they just need to up the cap on how many we can do a day (and really the only ones it will help you "blow through", when you get to that point, are the ARR ones).

    It only takes like a month to fully level 2 beast tribes doing their highest quests daily. A bit of a time investment and kind of annoying, yeah. Instead of uncapping they could also increase the amount of reputation given per quest instead, that way it takes less time.

    The ridiculous caps make it too much of a chore to do, and the frankly the XP isn't as great as Squeenix would like us to believe. Especially compared to custom deliveries or gold star GC turn ins.

    These caps are just another pointless time sink.

    Well of course its less than a custom delivery, thats a weekly while beast tribes are daily. If you do the beast tribe every day, you'll get more exp in a week than you do from the custom turn in, especially after the exp changes for DoH/DoL

    I can get far more XP doing Ishgard turn ins than I can doing moogle quests.

    Yup, an uncapped activity can provide a larger reward then a capped one if you put more time into it. On a strict one for one basis though, i would bet that the 5 minutes it takes to do a days worth of moogles pays out more then 5 minutes of resto work. The moogle rewards and story are also worth the effort for some people, regardless of exp.
