FFXIV just randomly closes without any sort of error message

Started happening earlier today.

Idk where to begin troubleshooting because it just straight up closes, there's no error message, there's nothing in the event log. No weird graphical artifacts, normal temps across the board. Disks show no sign of corruption or failing sectors etc. Ran memtest and it completed w/o issue. Other games seem fine. I'm stumped.

It happened twice earlier - once while I was gathering Flax in South Shroud, once while I was xworld in Limsa. I rebooted, and it was fine for a few hours, and then it just closed again on me in Limsa while I was quicksynthing + tabbed out.

It's doing the same thing with me. I'm at my wits end trying to figure it out. I don't run any mods or anything like that. I've reinstalled the game twice now. And now, I can't even log in, it will just close with no error message nothing. I hear the sound of my mail notification, and then the game closes. There's no error message or anything. I'm no perplexed.

Edit: I have tried rolling back my graphics driver as well. Right now I'm reinstalling the game for a third time in some futile hope I can play this game again.

I'm having the same issue only it's when I try to log into the game after it was done downloading the new patch, the window itself doesn't close at all.

Edit: Okay, um, I just tried opening a new game window and it works perfectly now but the other window isn't closing when I do so.

My game started doing this too after the patch came out this morning. I had no trouble in any zones at all until I went to Rak'tika. I'm stuck in Rak'tika because now the game just closes a few seconds after I log in. There's no error message or anything at all, the game just closes.

We do apologize for the delay in responding. hqdm, to prevent repeating previously attempted troubleshooting, what have you tried to alleviate the problem? Does this crash happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Where in game does the crash occur? Also, could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
