Didn't know that I thought it just the same but with a glam feature, ok you are right and ultimate has an advantage over tome and savage. The ultimate weapon is better than the savage weapon. It has the same stats and 1 extra materia slot. The TOP weapon is currently post-ultimate BiS.
Haha, thanks. This is my outfit for TOP, normally my DRK glamour isn't as edgy lol. Maybe I'll go with this long term once I get the TOP weapon.
I still won't do it lol
What mods do I have on console? No, people can not like your request for other reasons. 1 being that you’re clearly a troll with no handle on themselves dealing with other people’s visual perspective of your character. The only reason to be upset at what’s on other people’s screens would be insecurities which would be a personal issue for you
Savages have BiS gear when they are current. So no, they aren't just for glamour purposes. But even still, if someone posts a picture of the game with your character, name showing -and all, with you not in a bikini, you still cannot prove that you have never worn the outfit shown. It would be he said/she said. What do you get from the hardest content in the game? The best armour or weapons... No you get glamour, so glamour is endgame... Lol
I honestly don't give a flying toss to whatever you do or not, I just find it very easy to upset people when they are posting in the official forums that they can do something with mods, which is against tos... But do whatever you want
Be safe, don't use mods, don't get banned, and enjoy the bikini life
And as the mod is not being used to harass you, the GMs and Forum Mods will most likely not punish the person. Even Yoshi P has been pretty grey about the rules. They more so care about if someone is being harassed because of a mod.
I don't think that it would be a good idea to see everyone in their unglamed gear.
That would be totally boring and often would look really bad, too.
I don't get why people are upset about others people's glams. The only glam that is important, is our owns. Everything else is not our business.
If someone wears a glam that we don't like, than we should just stop to watch it more than necessary.
Furthermore glam is very often also some kind of selfexpression for a lot of people. And this part and diversity would be lost, if we would turn off all glam.
I mean, I'm not sure how many times it has to be said that it would be a toggle that is *OFF* by default. You'd have to read patch notes and/or actually go into options and dig to find it, which a lot of people probably wouldn't even realize it existed unless they *solely* wanted the feature and Googled it.I don't think that it would be a good idea to see everyone in their unglamed gear.

You'll never know if we turn off your "self expression" and this is coming from a dude with a frog head.
To be fair, anyone who would use this feature wouldn't care about your glam anyway. They probably don't know you, nor do they care to know you. No harm, no foul.I don't think that it would be a good idea to see everyone in their unglamed gear.

People play this game for a multitude of reasons. And evey reason is valid in some way. The reason this feature is being requested is for immersion. And people should be allowed to immerse themselves in the world and in the game play if they want to. Because at the end of the day, it doesn't effect me one bit if Suzy Kalisgard or w/e sees my character as I designed or as some mismatched rando in a crowd. Because Suzy Kalisgard means nothing to me. So it's okay that I mean nothing to them, y'know?
The argument of self-expression is fine. I get it. But at the same time, you have to also understand that the people who use this feature wouldn't be giving you the validation or affirmation that you are looking for in the first place. So again I repeat; no harm, no foul.
In my mind I have it where as soon as someone sees my character in a different outfit than what I put her in, it is no longer my character. It doesn't effect my game or my social interactions with friends. Therefore, it's none of my concern. I'm not sure if that made sense. I know everyone feels differently about different things but that's my viewpoint, at least.
I don't know if this has been suggested before, but what if they just added an option that replaces other player models with the placeholder characters that they use in the job actions trailer? Wouldn't this satisfy both sides?
The side that wants this option would get their wish because those placeholder characters are in job gear. And the side that doesn't want to be seen in anything they're not wearing would also have no discernible features of their character seen in those placeholders. Wouldn't that be the solution?
If we're going to make the toggle to generic placeholders... I vote for those blank dolls at the end of puppets bunker that merge together into a ball and giant woman... >.>I don't know if this has been suggested before, but what if they just added an option that replaces other player models with the placeholder characters that they use in the job actions trailer?
