So now that we have female characters tanking in string bikini's and now men in wedding dresses, it's time to adopt an option a lot of other games have: Hide Glamour. Naturally troglodyte are going to assume it's because of the men in dresses. It's actually because it's breaks the theme and feel of it being a final fantasy game. Tanks should wear plate, healers should wear robes, and no one should be in a fight seriously wearing carbuncle slippers and lingerie.

I don't propose a limit to glamour, I just want to be able to turn off other players glamours displaying on my client. That way they can "Express" themselves all they want, and I don't have to suffer another topless male in a thong.

If I can't show my glamours to anyone, what would be the point of playing this game anyway?

I know they were half joking but if there was a /command that replaces the PCs with generic NPCs I would seriously consider using it. lol

Considering the only people who wouldn't be seeing your particular choices are the ones who expressly do not wish to.. is it important that everyone HAS to? Is that the only value you have for that system?

I strongly approve of this feature when a character is wearing said glamours. Note: this would only apply to partial nudity glamours that would not make any sense in a Final Fantasy game context.

Like. The Edenmorn healing and casting "pants" were literally panties on women. That covered less than some of the actual swimsuits in game. Or maybe I'm thinking of the Shadowless sets? Idk I know I have several pairs of endgame underwear floating around somewhere.

I mean you'd probably see fewer ridiculous meme glams but you'd really be trading one clown show for another at the end of the day
