Not logging in 30 days plus housing and upgrade question

I am going to buy the $25.00 Bard upgrade to > > lev70.
(I have bad arthritis and love the game however this would save me the 10 levels of quests and dungeons which kill me).

So I am poor, when I pay the upgrade next month. I can not also afford the monthly
subscription.

When I do not log in for 30 days, does anything in my housing lot, or any other part of game play get affected? I will inform the Free Company I am subscribed to of my being away for the 30 days.

Then the next month I will be able to afford and to do the regular subscription.

The limit for housing demolition is 45 days, so just be sure to log in and visit your house the day before your sub is out. Also be sure to actually enter the house itself, otherwise it won't count as a visit.

I don't want to be rude, but how is get a character up 10 levels going to help anything? As you said you will be unable to play for a month if you do so which would be way more than enough time to level on your own even going slowly.

I have severe arthritis, rheumatoid, and don't ever do dungeons in public groups. Along with a slower graphics card I do hit single msq duty's where it takes me 3-5 days to complete it finally. I try 3 times a day, rest a day and tray again nsext day... loop again, until it gets done. So, no regular player mode for me, no doing 10 leve in a week. FC friends up to now who are lev 80 have taken me through dungeons unsynced .. no pts. Graciously. I am so grateful to them for that. But now at lev 60, it is coming to t he point where we will have to do groups the regular way. Still fc is better with more understandingn friends than in public groups where they're all anxious because of my slow graphics and slow fingers on keys. Yes, I have to use macros too.

So jumping 10 levels with all quests and dungeons finished is a godsend for me. Then I can access all of the othehr areas that I am locked out of now, for my gathering and fishing. Which is what I do. It's all that I do. Sometimes I kill monsters who are in the area i'm mining, or gathering to break the redundancy. But that's where I am 5-8 levels above them and myself and chocobo can cover the fight with a regular 5 or 6 stroke macro just fine.

So, that's why.

Bard has a lot of buttons to push - Infact i'd argue that out of all of the ranged DPS classes it has the most. With this in mind, why bard? I have to play devils advocate here but if you run any lvl 80 content with your disability, on a job with a lot of buttons, you'll find yourself unable to clear some content and perhaps even be the target of some harassment by those who do not know about your situation.
Might i suggest something a bit simpler? Perhaps dancer, machinist (though its a little fast paced) or a healer like white mage that in dungeons you only really need to press a few buttons to do the basics of your job? With healers you can even have mouseover macros too, which means you only need to hover your mouse over a part members name on the party list, reducing the clicking you need to do.

Do you play on controller or keyboard/mouse? Have you tried alternative control methods? Perhaps some pedals for your feet bound to a keyboard button press? Lots of different sizes and shapes of mice out there too for all different purposes, hell i think with enough effort you could probably play FF14 at a basic level on a flight stick.

Also if it's an FC house you're worried about, any FC member can reset the timer, so you don't have to worry about it.

What about playing the bard and take him to 70 instead? Probably you need less than a month and you save some buck in the process.

Edit: about your physical problems, you still can get help from your FC on doing MSQ roulette, it will help you reach 70 with no worries and not much stress on playing the job.
