The title should be self-explanatory. There has a been a multitude of requests, of reverts or changes from the community. Now, I don't know how often the community gets a response, I do know that you guys did respond to the GC stack a month or two back. But, there's just so much more the people want. While this may be a controversial pick, but the topic of Open-World PvP has continued to resurface, there is a genuine desire for it despite 'balance' being a means of excuse to saying, "no we should not have this," kind of mentality. If the playerbase wants more options to PvP, I see no cause for harm. In 2.x you guys were more serious about balance when you had things like, a larger hotbar of actions. You even had different uses for certain actions in a PvE and PvP environment. You even had a more serious leveling system that gave purpose to PvP ranks. You made all those changes to appease to the less dedicated and wanted a free pass. Now, these days. I get people come up to me and ask me about PvP and how they want to take it more seriously. And, I agree with the desire. If they want to start taking it more seriously. Then let them Square, bring back the PvP rank relevancy, listen to the feedback of the major PvP discords, things like Rival Wings still needing a roulette to just queue out of certain events like the current Moogle Tome event. Just a lil more dedication to the other side please. You given enough hardcore content in this game. There are still players that have yet to attempt some of these fights. Please. Work on other stuff.

Just play another pvp game. SE doesn't care about pvp. Even if they did, if six years is anything to go by, they don't have the expertise to make an engaging pvp experience either.

Few mmos coming out this year, maybe one of them will get it right.

It is not like I don't want a better developed PvP in mmorpg but the fact is fact, PvE is the primary focus and PvP got dev's spare time.
The only PvP only mmorpg hit the market few years ago (already forgot the name) didn't even last a year.

I still think a lot of current feast can be salvaged. A skill spec system that is either job or role based that allows you to pick 3 out of 12-15 modifiers, that are blanaced as can be, but have individual impacts could be super fun. Like in Shb, but more impact.

Also the addition of a grandmaster tier at 2500 to keep high rank games popping for longer.

But small things like this will never be added as long as people keep requesting PLS ADd A WOlF cOLLar sTore and liKE 50 glAMS PlS sQUARe!!! Which drowns it out.

Who am I kidding, pvp isn't going to get anymore dev time!

If you desire PvP from a different MMO, I strongly advise against joining TERA Online. BHS no longer cares for its playerbase, in fact they tossed all their lore right out of the window in favor of those accursed nekomimi midgets whose name I refuse to speak ... It just outright doesn't care for integrity anymore.

... I would suggest Warframe for PvP, if you happen to like games that feature space ninjas with a pretty good backstory :3

Can I ask what lore has to do with PvP? Lore has only made FF14 pvp worse at every turn.

Ah, my apologies! I should have explained more thoroughly. It doesn't, but I named TERA as an example of which game to never turn to for PvP since BHS has ruined it. Not only with the lore, but with a lot of other things, especially the gear upgrade system, dungeon system, and other mechanics (including PvP). They made it impossible to enjoy anymore, unless one is a masochist who enjoys the mental torture one would be subjected to the moment they step into it. It's a rapidly dying game.
