Pretty cool patch thb, but I'mma say it sucks because still my Viera/Hrothgar are left behind.
Totally Biais.

Only thing looking forward to is solo work shop, deep sea fishing, and next Nier raid.

Something I forgot to check and I'm not sure when the game goes down for maintenance... from the map in the patch notes, it looks like the Qitari tribe is actually adding a new area to the overall Rak'tika map. Could someone go and take screenshot of what it looks like now, for reference?

There's slightly more on the right side that I accidentally cropped out in the screenshot, but the area that is added by the Qitari should be right under the Ox'Dalan Gap.

World visit caused basically everyone who cared enough about selling things to move their retainers to Limsa (or the Crystarium), so they either had to get rid of the tax or tax you regardless, and theyre certainly not going to remove even a terribly implemented gil sink.I do wonder with the change to the market board tax system ( no longer get a discount based on if you buy from the city a retainer is in):
What is the point of having retainers set to a specific city? Seems to me that it's yet another rushed band aid fix without much thought to the ramifications of other systems.
A system that has been in place at least since 2.0 when I started playing. Why have they determined that this is the right system to change at this time 5 years after the fact?

So I was right, there are branching paths which affect beast tribe settlement's look. Will have to wait for pics of results on both sides before choosing which one I prefer, because it'll stay forever.

From the first stage at least, all it seems to change is which design appears on the completed stela. Pick whichever story you prefer - it will be confirmed in the next stage either way.
