Game Crashes to Black Screen

Game crashes to a black screen every time I hit play, sometimes I get a box with directx errors but most time its just a black screen.

I have updated Windows 10 and my drivers.
Reinstalled the game twice in the past 3 days.
Disabled all overlays form my graphic card and Microsoft Game Bar.

This issue has only started today,but it is making the game impossible to play, as I can not make it past the login screen.

What directx errors are you getting

It was a long list with numbers, it pops up so fast and closes my game, am unable to take a picture. After re downloading and installing the game, am able to make it to the world select screen before I get the pop up and game closes.

I apologize for the delay in our response.

When exactly did this start happening? Do you recall anything changing/updating on your PC that coincides with this?

When you reinstalled the game, did you also remove the locally-saved data folder (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV)? This isn't removed when you do a standard reinstall.

You may want to try a clean reinstall of your graphics drivers (even if they are up to date).

It started happening 31/1/2020.
Nothing has changed to my PC.
Th graphic card has be reinstalled and updated.
All data was removed prior to the installation I did on 1/2/2020 including the Benchmark.

Can you try doing a cleanboot? Open the task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.

I tried the clean boot and same thing happened, made it to the character selection screen before the game closed. Am at a loss at what to try now other than resetting my PC to factory settings and I really don't want to do that.

Edit: I was playing around with my graphic card settings and set my FPS to 90 max, so far it seems to be working.
