Considering there's already cases of fan artists' characters being ripped off, right down to their in-game name, I feel like this wouldn't be a good idea.

All black isn't really my thing- too many players wear black all over to begin with

I can see where some people are coming from, but it seems like you guys have forgotten something. While I cherish my character very much, I realize that I technically don’t own her. None of us own our characters. SE owns them. Even if you say they’re yours, that will simply never be true, unfortunately.

While I don’t really have an issue with this feature per se, I don’t see it being implemented in the future. Kind of because the option to view other players’ gear is already good enough probably from the devs’ point of view. For colors, we could just guess. No big deal.

I see enough sameface catgirls and Sadu clones. I would not like to to suffer a hivemind army of even more of them.

people are clones of each other but that is because character creation is very limited

considering the CC is all about presets its not really hard to do as is it would just cut out the middle man

I wouldn't feel comfortable with the ability to copy someone's look. It's hard to look unique in a mmo as is... (Especially for Hrothgar!)

Would be easily used as a tool for impersonating and trolling.

If you wanna share your characters look just upload the saved appearance slot to somewhere.

Or perhaps I just did not know there was a dyeable version of my outfit and it was cause for me to investigate.
