How does this mean there's less gear to choose from? You have no choice if it's gender locked and if there's only one it still means there's less to choose from as opposed to making two variants. You can't say that genderlocking things gives there more gear to choose from when you have to fantasia for it, most people are not going to fantasia over a single glamour
You're also not forced to wear the unisex item you don't like. I don't really know why this is a prevalent thing people say anyway because, taking the valentines outfit for example, it looks perfectly normal and good for women to wear suits, and then same can be said about men in dresses. Imo it depends on what your character looks like. If you have like a tall edgy bearded guy then yeah the outfit won't look good on them but you can easily make a "pretty boy" in this game that would fit in it. The stigma that comes from the idea that there must be a dress code for men and women otherwise they look bad is kinda uncalled for if you ask me, I believe you can make anyone look good in a certain style it you try for it. It only looks "weird" because you're not used to it or the person doesn't match the aesthetic anyway. It's not the gender that's the problem.
Job design in this game is currently in the gutter when it's arguably one if the core attractions of the game, everyone has to put up with playing at least one job if they want to access just about all of the game's content, if that's the case why is this focal point of the game in such a poor state? Literally where are all these "limited resources" going to anyway if not that? Is everything supposed to be half assed as they focus on 20 different things at once? They can't fix viera/Hrothgar, they can't fix jobs, or blue mage, the list goes on. And maybe when the fishing boat comes out it'll turn out to be bad and people complain about that and then other people say "they're working on other things too much to pay attention to that" and it never ends. If they're going to do literally anything they could at least put the full effort into one thing at a time instead of spreading themselves thin with everything. I'd rather have good job design or good glamour diversity, one or the other, but we get neither instead
Can we also keep in mind the amount of time they spent fixing the ugly 2b legs? Because people had an uproar over it? Over an ASS? So the priorities there are fine but this isn't?
