Why is Square Enix reusing the Forgiven Manatrigger AGAIN?

Welp, there are 60-70 leveling weapons, too. If it was me, I would look at 65th level gunblade actually. It has a nice thin model, that could fit not bad with steampunk theme. Or the Shire one same as for DNC.

I guess you mean Ryuumaku set. I checked, they're different. But actually 65th lvl one shares model with 62th lvl "white" weapon (which I didn't notice earlier tbh).

The thing i've thought to justify the reuse, other than for TEA models, is "had GNB/DNC been implemented with RDM/SAM/DRK/AST/MCH, would that model have been reused at the same time anyways?" Like, every job gets weapons from dohn mheg that're reskinned of castrum abania. Every weapon from Ala Mhigo is a recolor of the Shisui weapons, etc etc. In that context then it makes sense for the models to be reused.

Still it's lazy when you consider No UwU/UCoB/ARR primals/HW Trials/SB Trials (sans ShinEX)/Alexander raid weapons/Delta and Sigmascape weapons/Lost Allagan weapons...
Huh. I'm sure there's more that I'm missing, like I don't recall if GNB/DNC got the Ala Mhigan weapons (what're now bought via centurio seals next to the hunt board in rhalgr's, for example, and whose armor models get reused with job swapped palettes in malikah's well... but i digress), but when you spell it all out like that... it's quite a lot. Designing, redesigning, modeling, texturing, testing, reredesigning, eventually implementing; all whilst other things need that same workflow.
Not playing devil's advocate here but In light of that, yeah, it shows SE did drop the ball quite with DNC/GNB weapons (TEA being, imo, the most egregious), but that it makes sense as to why they did.
