    Bizzara spell not working.

    Ever since patch 1.21a possibly before just not noticed, Blizzara has not been working properly. There are times when i use the spell and get the casting animation but no spell effect and no damage and then i have to wait on the recast timer. I have done this many times and it often fails to work. So all you mages out there give it a try and report any issues you are having with it if any.

    It's self-aoe, so a mob must be close to you for it to work.

    If no mob is within range it just wastes mp.

    Are the mobs in range?

    Technically, you cast Blizzara on yourself. So it will always be used, even if you're standing in town.

    Hmm yeah I guess that's it, I didn't know that. It seems a bit stupid for it to go on cooldown if it dosen't actually do anything. I will have to make sure mobs are in range. Thanks.

    It's only good to use if you want to either run away/ kill a bunch of enemies that have like 1 hp left and you want them all dead at once.

    Other than that it's not a practical way to do damage. That's the problem with most of the ice spells. No "uumph" to them. Atleast we have the thunder combo for Garuda right?

    Directed @ OP. But It has it's uses. It's a decent instant damage spell, not powerful, but if used by a few BLM it's does decent dmg.

    You know when you're nuking a mob and both Thunder & Thundara are on cooldown and the mob has like ridiculously low hp but refuses to die? THAT'S when Blizzara saves me a lot of frustration! My nerves are thankful for it whenever I go to farm mob drops.
