I keep finding runaway Ishgardian heirs, how many are there exactly?

I've been catching up on side quests and last night I just did a Moogle Mail delivery that gave me some Jandilaine (and Beatin!♥) backstory.

Also on my alt I recently did the level 50-60 fishing quests with Ansaulme.

    And of course there's Carvallain.

All three of them are (implied) to be the heirs of their respective houses but ended up Not Doing That, so I guess my question is:

How many elezen boys are there who ran away from their duties as house heir (and ended up in Limsa)? I would love to find them because I think it's hilarious.

Are there more I'm forgetting or haven't encountered yet? Or was this just a common level 50 "let's sprinkle in some Ishgardians before HW" content that I'm finding myself bumping into a lot with these particular sidequests?

Last night it felt like there'd been an exodus or something...

Um... all of them? I always figure that any male elezen NPC i run into(aside from alphy because we know his lineage) is heir to an ishgardian noble house and has run away to sow some wild oats. This is why im constantly trying to kidnap them all and ransom them back to the land of ice and snow.

I can see some kind of exodus happening to be honest. Ishgard has been at war with the dragons for a thousand years and the High Houses are the ones who are the leaders in it. So you're looking at a group of people who have grown up knowing they are going to be in battle in a war that doesn't have an end in sight. And the war in question has probably been the death of a good number of most of their relatives too.

Compared to Ishgard's situation, the rest of Eorzea doesn't have it all that bad. They aren't under constant threat of dragon attack, their governments are a lot less... draconian... in nature (pun intended). Not dealing with the likes of the inquisition or the threat of heretics or being accused as a heratic would be nice. Really, anyone who wants more to their life then fighting in a never-ending war would be smart to get out of Ishgard. And the heirs of the houses are the ones in Ishgard who are probably getting the best education in the city.

I'd think the biggest thing holding them back in Ishgard would be patriotism and love for their families. Getting out of Ishgard itself was probably a lot easier before the Calamity froze it over too. Like... I don't want to say the people staying in Ishgard are idiots, but I'd want to get out of there ASAP myself. At least when the Dragonsong War was in full swing. Biggest issue would be getting the opportunity (and funds) to leave Ishgard, and the heirs of the Houses would have both of those...
