Depending on who got the most votes we get different decorations and a different ending. But seeing how Astrid won everywhere people wont ever see these different endings. (Which in turn makes it a waste of ressources to even make them..)

Decorations are just re-colours. They're not gonna waste time and resources on making unique looking decorations for each candidate.

I think people are just mad they had to accept the fact the quest dialogue mentions they lost. Meanwhile Astrid voters get thanked by her in the dialogue.

Not the same as being experienced in the game. That's the equivalent of reading a movie's script instead of watching the movie itself.

Its still a waste because they had to create and write different endings which will never be seen. (And yes you cant see cutscenes by reading text..) SE wanted to use the world visiting system to give people the chance to see more than one ending which shows that they had not wanted it to be the same everywhere.

Why are some of you so mad at people voicing their opinions? You can still enjoy Astrids quests but some of us might want to give feedback so that maybe next time stuff like that is better solved. And if you are tired that we complain ignore the threads.
