    Game-mode: basic 8x8x8 elimination / 24 x 24 x 24 elimination

    Hey whoever ends up reading this!

    I haven't really spent much time on the forums, or posted here before. But I'm still really confused, after years of playing and raiding + pvping how there's still nothing like the most popular pvp mode in literally any online player vs player game; elimination.

    Every single mode we have right now apart from feast is straight out pve/pvp mix. I know how the game shines in it's pve, and how the game focuses on that aspect. Believe me, I do all the content the game has to offer. From extremes to ultimates, but I really find, even if unique, the pvp modes to be a bit lackluster in terms of variety. It's extremely slow paced if you exclused everything apart from the ranked and practice mode. No actual big scale pure "battles" where the whole reason is just to... eliminate the other teams without nodes to watch for. The rawest and, to some people, most fun way of doing player versus player.

    Keep the modes there are, they're really fun from time to time, but bringing a gamemode that basically just includes taking out the enemy teams to gain points. No pve element included, would give a mode for the huge playerbase in mmorpgs that just play pvp to blow off steam. No machines. No nodes. No flags. Just go at each others grabbing points. A big mess with pvp in it's rawest forms.

    Just an idea after spending the last weeks in the different pvp modes. I understand that the idea isnt for everyone, and that some people are fine with the pvp modes we currently have.

    Edit: Apparently there used to be a mode like this called Slaughter that failed widely a long while back, but pvp has changed immensely over the years since then. I still think that with the state the pvp is in, trying it again but with additional feedback wouldn't hurt.

    Yes id love that, but also I wanna have the opposite where nods/flags are everything and kills/deaths dont matter. So wed have a kill them all, capture them all and a mix of both.

    I agree with the sentiment, If this was a simple implementation, like removing all of the ice from shatter, changing the value for a kill and making the map smaller over time. I'd agree.

    But I don't want them to invest (any more) resources into frontlines especially when it takes community linkshells and discords to actually get it to pop.
