I don't see it. Leaving your job and pursuing a hobby or career that you might not even be good with, let alone sustain yourself with, doesn't sound like a need to me. It sounds like a gamble and for something that may not even work out.

Since when does picking up a hobby mean you had to quit your job? I know plenty of employed gamers....

They should've put Aymeric and Hien instead of unknown guys. Things would look different.

I was so indecisive that I ended up just casting 3 different votes on my 3 characters, each picking the one that best matched their own personality.

Sooo I effectively abstained from voting XD

But I am still a little disappointed that it was so one-sided across the globe because that means 2/3 of the content created for this event's second phase has gone to waste. I wish there was still a way we could see the alternative cutscenes via The Unending Journey or something.
