Male Keeper of the Moon question

So, throwing together a male keeper in the character creator and spamming random name when I come across something odd: The name it suggests is "Khona'lo". As far as I'm aware, there is no "lo" in the naming conventions for male keepers, only li and wo, and I can't find any info anywhere. Could anyone offer some insight as to what this suffix may be apart from a bug please?

Which is funny for a name that should be a Lore-accurate one from the name generator. Male Keepers are extremely rare, and for a Keeper mother to get 11 sons when it's so rare...

Are you sure about the 'lo? Besides the ones you listed, there is also the suffix 'to for a second son.

Yes, I'm certain that I saw 'lo. It was giving me everything else and then it just popped up with that, and I sat and checked it against the forum thread for several minutes to be sure I wasn't seeing things!

    ‾\_(ツ)_/‾

The majority of families don't go past two or three sons and yet SE decided to list them up to ten. Mayhap Khona just be blessed by Menphina to bear eleven (or more). Or mayhap she's a liar looking to boost her prestige by saying "look at me, I have eleven (or more) sons". Or mayhap there be some Keeper superstition about giving your son a high number to encourage the birth of more sons or some such.

In the real world, worldwide fertility average out at 2.5 children per woman and yet we've seen a woman give birth to up to 69 children. There's always the outlier.

I wonder if 11 just happens to be the current record and if you're the first to have a 12th son you get to decide the suffix for them.

I also wonder about how nicknames work for miqo brothers, since they all share a name except for the suffix... I call mine Li, because he's a 'li but also because it's the first part of his name, Lito'li. But people in dungeons and chat usually call him Lito, which would be his mother's name and I don't think he'd enjoy that. Kinda like calling a Tia just "Tia", I imagine it could be frustrating if others don't understand your clan/tribe naming conventions.

At the same time, it might make sense for your family to call you by just the suffix, but if you shouted "Hey, 'to!" in a schoolyard a lot of heads are gonna poke up. Would they just always use their full first name then, or maybe come up with more unique nicknames among friends?

Also twin boys might be something odd too... I almost feel like an argument could be made for giving them the same suffix if you count by birth/pregnancy instead of by individual.

Even in the case of twins, the babies are going to be born one at a time. Even in real life, "elder twin and younger twin" are a thing (and in the days of firstborn inherits all, it was a vital distinction). Twins very likely follow normal naming conventions.
